
Queen Elizabeth sails from Portsmouth for NATO readiness drill
The 65,000-tonne HMS Queen Elizabeth departs Portsmouth with about 800 sailors for a three-month training deployment around the UK and northern Europe, marking its first voyage as NATO's command ship for the Allied Response Force to rehearse joint operations and boost security, deterrence and readiness among the UK and its allies.
