
Sony Debuts Lytia 910 LOFIC Sensor With 100dB HDR in a Single Shot
Sony introduced its first LOFIC image sensor, the Lytia 910, delivering 100dB dynamic range in a single exposure via per-pixel capacitors and Triple Conversion Gain HDR, enabling 4K 60fps HDR video and reducing motion artifacts. The 50MP, 1/1.28-inch sensor uses Quad Bayer and 1.22µm pixels, with mass production starting this summer and smartphones expected in Q4; LOFIC has appeared in other models like Honor Magic6 Ultimate and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, with rumors of Samsung and vivo pursuing similar tech.
