Ukraine's 55% Jet-Drone Interception Rate Drives $12B Russian Expansion
Ukraine intercepted 55% of Russian jet-propelled drones in September, a significant improvement but still leaving half of the faster, harder-to-jam threats reaching their targets. In response, Russia plans to spend $12 billion in 2027 on jet drones and loitering munitions. President Zelenskyy warned that Moscow is expanding its war capacity globally, urging G20 nations to pressure Russia while Ukraine scales up its own interceptor production.
