Lamborghini Dismisses Manual Return While Rivals Chase Three-Pedal Cars
Lamborghini chief Stephan Winkelmann says the brand has no plans to reintroduce a manual gearbox, arguing its pipeline of electrified, high-performance models takes priority despite McLaren and Ferrari reviving three-pedal cars. The last Lamborghini with a manual was the Gallardo LP560-2 50th Anniversary edition, and the Murciélago SV was the final V12 model with a stick. With models like the Revuelto and Temerario, Lamborghini is focusing on faster, more complex propulsion rather than a manual option, even as rivals push for driver-centric transmissions.
