Lucifer-claiming attacker fatally shot after Grand Central machete rampage
A machete-wielding man who called himself Lucifer attacked three people at Grand Central Terminal in NYC. He was shot by two transit officers and died later at Bellevue Hospital. The victims, aged 84, 65, and 70, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect, 44-year-old Anthony Griffin, had three prior arrests and no NYPD emotionally disturbed person history; investigators are continuing to probe the incident and the area was temporarily disrupted.
