Indiana trio tied to cross-country cemetery-niche thefts
Indiana residents Drake Lee Milam (33), Angela Christine Garrett (52) and Porsche Roschell Bancroft (32) were arrested for breaking into mausoleum niches containing cremated remains and stealing jewelry across the eastern United States. Florida officials say at least 20 cases have been identified in the state, with items like wedding rings and other mementos taken. The trio allegedly traveled through multiple states before Milam and Garrett were arrested and Bancroft surrendered in Florida; they face charges including injuring or removing a tomb, disturbing the contents of a grave, and grand theft over $20,000, with extradition to Florida planned for the two suspects.
