
Dangerous tornado hits Appleton–Menasha region, prompting severe warnings
A dangerous, “extremely dangerous” tornado struck parts of Appleton and Menasha in northeast Wisconsin, triggering a particularly dangerous situation tornado warning—the second-highest level. The storm moved across Lake Winnebago after hitting Menasha and was visible for about 20 minutes.
