Father who supplied gun for Georgia school shooting gets 15-year sentence
A Georgia judge sentenced Colin Gray to 15 years in prison for criminal negligence after a jury found he supplied the assault rifle used by his 16-year-old son in the 2024 Apalachee High School shooting that killed four and wounded nine. Gray became the first parent to be convicted of second-degree murder in a U.S. school shooting, while his son Colt Gray received life without parole for the attack.
