Taylor Sheridan Quits Sons of Anarchy Over Pay, Then Builds a TV Empire
Taylor Sheridan revealed on Howard Stern that he left FX’s Sons of Anarchy after season 2 because producers offered him $15,000 per episode for a 10-episode guarantee, which he said wasn’t a real raise and showed he could be replaced. He chose to quit and pivot to writing, going on to create a string of hit series including Yellowstone and its successors.
