Bondi Returns to White House Ties as AI Policy Liaison Amid Cancer Battle
President Donald Trump has named former Attorney General Pam Bondi to the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) as a liaison to the White House on AI policy, a consolation prize after Bondi was fired over her handling of the Epstein files. Bondi, 60, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer weeks after leaving the DOJ, and Todd Blanche has been serving as acting attorney general. Bondi’s appointment places her among top tech figures advising the White House on science and technology policy.
