Nothing denies layoffs rumors, pivots to AI-driven regional reorganization
Nothing cofounder Akis Evangelidis pushed back on reports that the company planned to exit 12 markets, saying the claims are fake and that Nothing is reorganizing by consolidating teams into regional hubs and creating an AI-native business unit. He noted that Phone 4B Day 1 sales were strong (29,537 units) and acknowledged broader pressures from rising component costs, while insisting Nothing is not shutting down in any markets and is adjusting to position for future growth.
