
Charlotte doctor charged after I-77 road-rage shooting injures two sisters
A Charlotte physician, Richard T. Ariviello, 61, was arrested in Carroll County, Virginia after allegedly firing into a moving Jeep during a road-rage incident on I-77, injuring two sisters (ages 12 and 20) with non-life-threatening injuries. He faces several felonies, including malicious shooting into an occupied vehicle and use of a firearm while committing a felony, and was taken into custody near Exit 19; the Jeep driver is charged with reckless driving as the investigation continues.
