Busy Philipps: Brain Tumor Removed, Back on Set
Busy Philipps revealed she underwent removal of a rare brain tumor earlier this year after a Prenuvo full-body MRI detected a 2.6‑centimeter lesion, later diagnosed as a grade 2 oligodendroglioma. The five‑hour operation was followed by a second surgery to treat a staphylococcus infection, but she has recovered enough to return to work on Cupertino with ongoing regular scans and no chemotherapy or radiation, and doctors say the recurrence risk is low.
