IDF Foils Hezbollah's Planned Major Rocket Assault After Iran Strike
Even after Iran’s deadly missile strike on Israel, the IDF said it had reduced Hezbollah’s planned large-scale rocket attack by destroying multiple launchers and causing rockets to fall short into Lebanon. Hezbollah is shifting tactics, decentralizing crews and relocating rockets north to complicate Israeli strikes, while the IDF widens operations in southern Lebanon, including strikes on Hezbollah-owned fuel stations to disrupt funding. The military warned of a longer campaign ahead, noting that roughly 40 rockets were fired in the latest 24 hours, compared with higher attack levels earlier in the week.
