
Take-Two Chief: GTA-Scale Hits Still Possible, But Earned with Creativity
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick warned that landing a GTA-scale hit remains extremely hard as the entertainment landscape matures, pointing to former Rockstar staffers’ attempts (notably Build a Rocket Boy’s MindsEye) that ended poorly despite high hopes. He suggested a future GTA-like success could come from outsiders who bring extraordinary creativity, and emphasized Take-Two’s goal of attracting and integrating such talent into its system, rather than relying on technology alone.
