Turkish Drilling Yields No Bedrock at Contested Noah's Ark Site

A new field season at the Durupınar formation in eastern Turkey has intensified the debate over whether the site is a natural rock structure or the remains of Noah’s Ark. Researchers from Sivas Cumhuriyet University and Noah’s Ark Scans drilled over 60 feet into the site, collecting more than 300 soil samples. Preliminary reports indicate the absence of solid bedrock, with drilling encountering mainly soil and boulders. While some claim radar scans reveal man-made structures, official university statements emphasize that laboratory analysis is still underway and results are inconclusive. The findings challenge previous geological assessments that identified the site as a natural limestone formation, but no definitive proof of a man-made vessel has been confirmed.

Astrocytes: The New Frontier in Memory Storage and Learning

A new study by NYU scientists, published in Nature Communications, reveals that kidney cells can learn and form memories, similar to brain neurons. This discovery offers a potential literal interpretation of the biblical phrase "bochen klayos" (examine the kidneys) from Yirmiyahu 17:10, traditionally seen as metaphorical. The research suggests that the pasuk's reference to testing the kidneys alongside the heart may reflect a profound biological reality, indicating a comprehensive examination of both conscious thought and unconscious cellular memory.

Unraveling the Mystery of Earth's Water Origin.

A recent study on the origin of Earth's water has ruled out one explanation but still doesn't know how it could have happened. However, the Bible provides the proper framework for understanding history, revealing that God created Earth covered in water around 6,000 years ago and that water poured out from inside the Earth during the global flood of Noah's day just 4,350 years ago. It takes a lot of faith to believe in evolutionary ideas, but we can put our faith and trust in the Creator who gave us physical water and quenches our spiritual thirst through the gift of his Son, the living water.
