Zelensky Open to Territorial Concessions for NATO Membership
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has suggested that Ukraine might temporarily cede territory to Russia in exchange for NATO membership for the unoccupied parts of the country, aiming to end the "hot phase" of the war. This proposal comes amid ongoing conflict and past annexations by Russia, with Zelensky emphasizing the need for NATO's immediate protection to prevent further Russian advances. He also expressed a desire to work directly with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump to secure support for Ukraine.
