Rare Conjunction of Moon, Venus, and Mars During Solstice Week

Venus and Mars will appear to the right of the moon on June 21, the summer solstice, in a rare conjunction visible from the Northern Hemisphere. The three celestial bodies will appear within a 6.3-degree circle and can be seen 40 minutes after sunset. Venus will appear super bright while Mars will appear red. The next time Venus and Mars will be seen in conjunction will be in 2024, 2027, and 2028.
