Saturn's Rings: A Vanishing Act by 2025

Contrary to recent claims, Saturn's rings will not disappear by 2025. The rings will become almost invisible from Earth in 2025 due to our changing perspective, but they will reappear soon thereafter. This phenomenon occurs regularly, with the last occurrence in 2009. The rings will be edge on in March 2025, gradually becoming visible again over the course of a few months. They will then slide out of view in November 2025 before gradually reappearing to the largest telescopes in the months that follow.
