NASA's Stunning Black Hole Animation.

NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center Conceptual Image Lab has released a new animation highlighting the size and mass of supermassive black holes. The animation takes viewers on a tour of 10 black holes of increasing size, including Sagittarius A*, the black hole at the center of our Milky Way galaxy, which is as massive as some 4.3 million suns. Black holes are notoriously picky eaters and not efficient consumers of galactic material. However, there is no reason to fear them, as they are not evil, mean, or scary, but just are.
