NASA's telescopes capture stunning composite images of galaxies and nebulae.

NASA has released stunning composite images of two galaxies, a nebula, and a star cluster, created by combining photos from the James Webb Space Telescope and the Chandra X-ray Observatory. The images reveal the true colours of the universe and include plumes and arcs of gas and dust that stars and planets use as source material during their formation. The James Webb Space Telescope, which has already cost more than $7 billion, is considered a successor to the orbiting Hubble Space Telescope and is designed to detect light from the earliest stars and galaxies.
