Hidden Asteroid Family Possibly Sharing Venus' Orbit Discovered

Astronomers believe there are many more Venus co-orbital asteroids than currently observed, potentially hundreds, which share Venus' orbit around the sun. These objects are difficult to detect from Earth due to their proximity to the sun and rapid movement, but simulations suggest they can remain in Venus' orbit for thousands of years and occasionally come close to Earth. Future missions and observatories may improve detection of these hidden asteroids, enhancing our understanding of near-Earth space.
