Russia and US Collaborate to Send More Astronauts to the International Space Station

Russian and U.S. space authorities have agreed to an additional flight for an American astronaut on board Russia's Soyuz MS spacecraft, as part of a cross-flight agreement between Russia's Roscosmos and NASA. Despite tensions over Ukraine, the cooperation in space between the two countries continues, with astronauts stationed together at the International Space Station (ISS). Russia has also announced plans to launch its own independent space station in the future.
