Voyager 1's Mysterious Communication Issues Puzzle NASA

NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft, which has been exploring space for over 45 years, is experiencing technical difficulties in sending data back to Earth. The issue involves the flight data system (FDS) and telemetry modulation unit (TMU) on board. The Voyager team attempted to restart the FDS but was unsuccessful. Troubleshooting is complicated by the age of the spacecraft and the time it takes for commands to reach it. Voyager 1, launched in 1977, became the first human-made object to reach interstellar space in 2012. Despite the challenges, Voyager 1 continues to be NASA's longest-operational mission.
