Axiom-2 private astronaut mission set for weekend launch from Florida.

Axiom Space's second fully commercial astronaut flight to the International Space Station has only two opportunities to launch on Sunday and Monday, or else wait until after an upcoming SpaceX resupply mission next month. The four-person crew will ride into orbit aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft. Peggy Whitson, the record-breaking astronaut, leads the crew, and she will be joined by U.S. businessman John Shoffner, Saudi Arabian astronauts Ali Alqarni and Rayyanah Barnawi. During their time in orbit, they will perform biomedical experiments, chemistry and materials science research, and educational events with students on the ground.
