Euclid: Europe's Dark Universe Telescope Set for SpaceX Launch

The European Space Agency (ESA) is set to launch its Euclid space telescope, which will observe the universe at infrared wavelengths in search of dark matter and dark energy. The telescope will be launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Both ESA and NASA will provide live broadcasts of the launch, which can be viewed through their respective websites and YouTube channels. Euclid will spend about six years collecting data on distant cosmic sources from its observational perch at the second Lagrange point, located about one million miles from Earth.
