"Perseverance Rover Spots Broken Mars Helicopter on Martian Dune: End of NASA's History-Making Mission"
TL;DR
NASA's Perseverance Rover captured an image of the damaged Ingenuity helicopter on a Martian dune, marking the end of its mission after suffering rotor damage during its 72nd flight. The helicopter, which made history with the first powered flight on another planet, served as a scout for the Perseverance rover in exploring Mars' Jezero Crater. Despite the end of its mission, NASA praised Ingenuity's legacy and is already developing another drone, Dragonfly, for future exploration of Saturn's moon, Titan.
