SpaceX Sets New Milestone with 5000th Starlink Satellite Launch

SpaceX is set to launch another batch of Starlink internet satellites, bringing the total number of satellites lofted to over 5,000. The launch is scheduled for August 26th from Florida's Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The Falcon 9 rocket will carry 22 Starlink spacecraft and the first stage is expected to land on the SpaceX drone ship. This launch follows another SpaceX mission to the International Space Station. SpaceX has permission to deploy 12,000 Starlink satellites and has applied for permission for an additional 30,000.
