"Stunning Flyover Video Reveals Ancient Lake in Mars's Jezero Crater"

The European Space Agency has created a virtual flyover video of the Jezero Crater on Mars using data collected by the agency's Mars Express and NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. The video shows significant features of the crater, including two inlet valleys and a lengthy outlet channel where water formerly poured out of the crater. Scientists are interested in exploring areas where liquid water was present to look for signs of ancient life, and Jezero is an excellent spot to hunt for evidence of life on Mars.
