"Stunning Footage of Mars' Clouds and Landscapes Captured by Perseverance Rover"

NASA's Perseverance rover captured images of drifting clouds on Mars, providing a window into conditions in the planet's middle atmosphere. The images were taken just before Martian sunrise on March 18, the 738th Martian day of the mission. The rover is currently exploring an ancient river delta in Jezero Crater that may have hosted ancient life and gathering samples for future return to Earth. NASA is considering changes to reduce the cost of the campaign, including having only a single helicopter fly aboard the lander in 2028.
