Air India turbulence injures 14 after sudden midair dip
An Air India Airbus A320 en route from Phuket to Delhi hit sudden turbulence about 90 minutes after takeoff, dropping roughly 300 feet and tossing passengers and crew. Fourteen people were injured, including a crew member described as severely injured; the plane landed safely in Delhi and was sent to medical facilities for precautionary checks. The DGCA is investigating, while Air India said none of the injuries were serious and emphasized passenger safety.
