Southwest to exit O'Hare, refocus on Chicago Midway
Southwest Airlines will discontinue service to Chicago O'Hare in June, canceling new bookings after June 4 and offering refunds or rebooking; the carrier will concentrate on its Midway hub, continuing to serve more than 80 destinations and the 15 markets previously served from O'Hare, with affected employees able to bid for openings across the network. Southwest is also ending service to Dulles amid broader FAA capacity reductions affecting O'Hare.
