Boeing kicks off new 737 Max line in Everett, targeting 52 jets monthly
Boeing will start producing 737 Max aircraft on July 6 at a new final-assembly line in Everett, north of Seattle, to lift monthly output to about 52 jets next year (from 47 today). The line will initially build the 737 Max 10, with FAA certification expected by year’s end, and Boeing’s long-term goal is 63 jets per month if the supply chain supports it; production pacing remains constrained by FAA caps as the company continues to reset its safety and quality processes following a 2024 Alaska Airlines incident.
