Autopsy pinpoints burns and smoke inhalation in Bobby J. Brown's barn-fire death
New autopsy and toxicology findings show Bobby J. Brown died at 62 from diffuse thermal injury and smoke inhalation after a Maryland barn fire; his carbon monoxide level was 71% and he suffered fourth-degree burns while attempting to jump-start a Cadillac. Alcohol was detected prior to death, but no drugs were found. The incident occurred as responders rescued him from the burning barn, and he is survived by two adult children; co-stars from The Wire have recently faced deaths in the years surrounding his passing.
