Deer antler search leads to discovery of human skeleton in Kansas.
A man searching for deer antlers in southeast Kansas discovered human skeletal remains over the weekend. The age and gender of the remains were not immediately apparent due to decomposition, and an autopsy is scheduled to identify them. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and Allen County Sheriff's Office are investigating the case but do not believe there is a threat to the public. Hunters and hikers have accidentally helped solve missing person cases in the past while searching for antlers.
