
Goodell salutes Tretter as NFLPA chief, signaling a push for an expanded season
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell congratulated JC Tretter on his election as NFLPA executive director, praising his leadership and history with the league. The NFL says it will build on its relationship with the NFLPA to advance player health and safety and grow the game globally, with talks of expanding the regular season (potentially to 18 games) and adding international games as part of a new collective bargaining agreement targeted by 2027.
