Jersey Mike’s IPO Slips on Market Debut
Jersey Mike’s Subs priced its IPO at $23 and sold about 43.5 million shares to raise roughly $1 billion, valuing the sandwich chain at about $7.3 billion, but the stock traded around $22 on its first day, dipping below the IPO price as investor demand waned. The deal priced at about 10 times last year’s revenue, a premium to peers such as Wingstop, highlighting mixed appetite for IPOs in the hospitality sector.
