Jet’s Landing Gear Clips Truck on the NJ Turnpike Near Newark
A United Airlines Boeing 767 landing at Newark Liberty International Airport clipped the top of a bread truck on the nearby NJ Turnpike, injuring the driver with minor cuts but causing no serious damage to the aircraft, which landed safely and carried passengers unharmed. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating, and United has removed the crew from service while flight data and cockpit voice recorders are preserved.
