AI swarm cracks 90-year Navier–Stokes problem in 88 hours
OpenAI reports that a new internal AI model, deployed with about 10,000 autonomous bots, tackled the Navier–Stokes existence and smoothness problem and solved two of the four required statements in 88 hours, at an estimated $10 million in compute; the result awaits independent verification and OpenAI does not claim the Millennium Prize.
