VR studio Polyarc Games has shut down after nearly twelve years, confirming the end of active development in a LinkedIn post and detailing a March layoff that cut about two-thirds of the staff. The Moss franchise—including Moss VR (PSVR 2018), Moss 2 VR (formerly Moss: Book II), and The Forgotten Relic—along with Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss, earned more than 160 awards and nominations, but sales evidently weren’t enough to keep the studio afloat.
