
Young Chess Prodigy Bodhana Sivanandan Makes History with Grandmaster Win
A 10-year-old girl, Bodhana Sivanandan, made history by defeating a 60-year-old grandmaster at the British Chess Championships, becoming the youngest female to beat a grandmaster and surpassing the previous record held by Carissa Yip. She started playing at age 5, learned through YouTube, and is considered a future grandmaster with ambitions to compete in the World Championship.
