Huang's trillion-dollar praise sparks Marvell rally
Marvell Technology jumped about 24% in premarket trading after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang called the chipmaker the “next trillion-dollar” company during Computex in Taipei. Nvidia had invested $2 billion in Marvell earlier this year, and Marvell forecast its custom chips business would top $10 billion in revenue by fiscal 2029 as AI data centers expand, a boost that could add roughly $47 billion to its market capitalization if gains hold. Nvidia shares also rose about 1.8% on the news.
