
Surfer Fends Off 12-Foot Tiger Shark at China Walls, Hawaii
A 24-year-old surfer, Albert Westpfal, survived a 12-plus-foot tiger shark attack at China Walls in Oahu after the shark slammed his board, knocked him off, and charged him with its mouth open; he fought back with kicks and punches, escaped with leg abrasions and a damaged board, as his friend Zach Sheerer looked on and paddled to help.
