
Dolphin delivers year’s strongest typhoon to China’s coast
Typhoon Dolphin, the strongest storm to hit China this year, made landfall near Yuhuan, Zhejiang, with winds of 94 mph, prompting mass evacuations, flight cancellations in Shanghai, and widespread disruption as heavy rain—potentially 250-500 mm in parts of Zhejiang and neighbouring provinces—threatens floods and landslides.
