
Ford-Geely JV to build European EVs in Valencia, adds new Bronco and two Geely SUVs
Ford and Geely announced a new joint venture to manufacture Ford- and Geely-branded electrified vehicles at Ford's Valencia, Spain plant, targeting Europe with up to 500,000 vehicles per year. Ford will introduce a new multi-energy electric crossover and a rugged Bronco, while Geely will produce two new electric SUVs at Valencia. If approved, production could start in 2027 with first units in 2028, and Ford would own 66% of the JV while Geely holds 34%.
