NASA's Commercial Crew Program Advances Toward Boeing Crew Flight Test to International Space Station

NASA and Boeing are working towards completing verification and validation activities for the Boeing Starliner spacecraft's first crewed mission to the International Space Station (ISS). The launch, initially targeted for March, has been rescheduled for April to better accommodate upcoming crew rotations and cargo resupply missions. Boeing is currently addressing hardware remediation efforts and plans to deliver and install parachutes by the end of the year. Modifications to the thermal control system valves are also being planned. The certification process is nearly complete, and astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are training for the mission.
