Google Translate set for a modern Android makeover
Android Authority reports Google is testing a major Google Translate redesign for Android, featuring a new bottom pill-shaped navigation bar with four sections (Translate, Live, Camera, Practice), top-aligned language selectors, a bottom translation input card with quick actions, contextual shortcuts for continued practice, and a consolidated Your activity screen for history and saved translations. The updates extend to refreshed input and results screens with a cleaner, card-based design, and secondary tools moved into the input card. An APK teardown points to potential features, but rollout timing and exact availability aren’t guaranteed yet.
