
Lahore Tuition Centre Roof Collapse Claims 14 Young Lives
A private tuition centre in the Kahna suburb of Lahore collapsed its roof, killing 14 children and injuring about five others. Rescue operations were completed within an hour, and most victims were aged 7–11. Authorities detained two people for questioning as part of an initial investigation. Pakistan’s prime minister and Punjab’s chief minister condemned the tragedy and pledged accountability and medical aid for the injured.
