Galaxy Watch 9 codenames point to new Classic and Ultra 2 models this year
Codenames spotted in a Google Wear OS app suggest Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 9 family will include the base Watch 9, a Watch 9 Classic, and a Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, with the codenames Fresh 9, Wise 9, and Project V2 pointing to those models. There’s also a hint that Pixel Watch raise-to-talk could expand to Samsung’s watches. While intriguing, nothing is official yet, and Samsung is expected to unveil new Galaxy Watch models around a London event later this summer, likely alongside foldables like a new Wide model.
