Ex-Alabama coach Paige Adams indicted on 32 sex-crimes charges involving a student
Ex-Alabama girls basketball coach Paige Adams was indicted on a 32-count grand jury indictment accusing her of deviant sexual intercourse with a student and other sex crimes, including distributing obscene material to a student under 19, stemming from a complaint that led to her resignation from Cold Springs High School. Adams was released on a 225,000 bond and must wear an electronic monitoring device; the age of the student at the time was not disclosed. She previously coached at Holly Pond High School, and her husband filed for divorce after her resignation; the Cullman County DA called the indictment self explanatory.
